Charmaine Marck, L.Ac.

Charmaine picI am an Arizona Licensed Acupuncturist and a nationally board certified Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM). I was a massage therapist for several years before deciding to further my education with Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and I still enjoy nurturing and pampering my patients to help them relax for best results. I named my practice Healing Journeys because I believe that healing is a personal journey and I take the time to listen and understand to help each person find his or her path to health. My knowledge of bodywork and essential oils is integrated into individualized treatments. I am a Certified practitioner of Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy ®, which I often integrate with acupuncture. I use the healing powers of therapeutic Essential Oils, and often send patients home with custom blends to dab on specific points between treatments. I have also been in the corporate world as an accountant before entering the healing profession and I have raised two children, so I understand the daily stresses you may experience when balancing work, family, and personal health.

I earned my Master of Science degree in Acupuncture at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA) in Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated with honors and won an award for Academic Excellence in Acupuncture. I then went on to earn my Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, which encompasses Chinese Herbal Medicine. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University, Sacramento.
